Mutton Raan Leg Roast Recipe

Raan The same recipe of Mutton can be baked in the oven. All steps are the same , only after marinating , preheat the oven to 350 degrees and bake it for 1 hour. Do not forget to put 3 cups of water in baking dish . Grease with oil time to time.

Ingredients for Mutton Raan :
Mutton raan ½ kilo ( around )
Papaya paste 2TB sp
Ginger paste 2 tbsp

Onion paste 2 tbsp
Lemon juice 5-6 tablespoons ( 2 large lemons)
Mace ( javitri ) ½ tea sp
Dried Masala Mix 1 tbsp
Red chili powder 2 TB sp
1 tablespoon salt
Method to make HammelbratenRaan :
Take the raan Mutton and prick them with a fork or knife so that all marinate it well .
Now make a paste of all ingredients and apply on Mutton raan apply all the masala mixture with your hands in the crisp flesh.
Leave it aside for marinate for at least 8 to 10 hours. It would be better if you marinate it overnight or a day .
Created in saucepan the Mutton raan and 3 to 4 cups of water. Allow to cook on very low heat for 2 hours. It might take an hour , depends on the quality of meat .
Make sure that all the water is dried in the pan
When it is cooked , take it out . Allow it to cool to room temperature , the Mutton RAAN .
